Letterpress Carpenter Christmas Ornament set

For letterpress printers who want to create their own special Christmas ornaments for note cards, posters, and special prints.

Moore Wood Type has worked with gifted graphic designer, Stephanie Carpenter, to design a 5″ x 7″ box of type high, end grain, laser cut, hard maple wood type elements that can be combined to produce both solid color and chromatic Christmas prints.  Stephanie explains the finished letterpress prints reflect the historic designs found in the antique, hand blown glass ornaments of the past.

The box sets contains two different size possible ornaments with overprint and inset elements that allows the printer to create four different ornaments.

This is a limited edition box set that was introduced at the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum Wayzgoose in early November by MWT.
